PCs Matt Beards and Adam Johns set off on foot patrol in around Evesham town centre this morning (Tuesday).

The town centre team officers were on the look out for a wanted suspect, searching around Boat Lane near the Hampton Ferry.

PC Beards and PC Johns also engaged with stallholders at the market on High Street, checked on a rough sleeper and visited a shopkeeper following a recent report of a retail crime.

They were joined towards the end of their morning patrol by PC Ben Trowman who had been supporting their search for the wanted man with a bike patrol. The hunt for the man wanted on recall to prison will resume later.
